Applications Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, Connectivity and Sensors, and Sales & Marketing business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment. Responsibilities May Include - Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI/ML use cases.
- Conduct research and feasibility analysis on proposed use cases.
- Develop and test proof-of-concept models using appropriate AI/ML techniques.
- Document findings, methodologies, and outcomes for internal review and presentation.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in AI/ML and data science.
- Support data collection, preprocessing, and exploratory analysis as needed.
Qualifications - Currently pursuing Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Must have a 3.5 GPA or Higher
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
- Experience with Python and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Familiarity with data wrangling, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Prior hands on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills - Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and MLOps tools.
- Experience with NLP, computer vision, or time-series analysis.
- Understanding of business processes and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship by the company. Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $25/hr-$34/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
