Job Title: Backstage Developer
Summary
Core responsibilities include plugin development with TypeScript and Node.js , integrating with CI/CD , cloud platforms, and observability tools, and establishing the Software Catalog and TechDocs . The goal is to improve developer productivity, experience, and autonomy by creating self-service capabilities and centralizing developer workflows.
Required Skills
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain the Backstage developer portal, ensuring its scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
Build and maintain custom plugins using TypeScript, Node.js, and React to extend Backstage functionality and integrate with internal and external tools.
Configure and maintain the Software Catalog to manage services, documentation, and infrastructure components, ensuring data consistency.
CI/CD and Cloud Integration : Integrate Backstage with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for seamless software delivery and infrastructure insights.
Develop Software Templates using the Scaffolder to standardize project bootstrapping and implement TechDocs for internal documentation.
Work Site: Atlanta, GA (onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months
