Summary

We are now seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Director to join and lead our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.

The principal responsibility of the director is 3 Fold:

1. To ensure the childcare center runs optimally without any state deficiencies, health or fire department infractions.

2. Team building and professional growth of staff.

3. Customer Service to all students, parents and staff

Duties

Must meet able to perform caregiver duties
Coordinate Food Service Program
Ensure proper notices to parents
Ensure the center is in compliance with Minimum Standards
Fire and Safety Drills
Ensure all workers complete assigned task
Create schedules (work, cleaning, outside and special events)
Keep accurate and complete employee and student files
Payroll (corrections and submissions)
Hold Enrollment events
Keep Center attendance log
Management of Apps usage
Create Work Orders for building Maintenance.
Hiring Screening and Recommending employees for hire
Train and Coach Staff
Meet KPIs assigned for the location (Key Performance Indicators)
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must meet all caregiver requirements
Qualify as a director under minimum standards
Complete a Minimum of 30 hours of professional development each year
Maintain CPR/1st Aide Certification
Maintain Transportation Training
Be able to train caregivers
Other duties as assigned
Degree in Early Childhood Education or High School Diploma with ECD 101
