- Develop and foster a value based, innovative and engaged culture that ensures the safety of all employees;
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy;
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing employment related issues and complaints;
- Responsible for maintaining Corporate and facility HR Policies;
- Recruit candidates for open vacancies that display value driven behavior;
- Ensure data privacy protections;
- Ensure legal compliance in employment-related matters;
- Effectively utilize all HRIS systems to ensure support to the facility and employees (Peoplesoft, Kronos);
- Develop plans based on EOS to improve employee relations: Develop and monitor overall HR strategies,
systems, tactics and procedures;
- Nurture a positive working environment;
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics;
- Develop training opportunities for employees;
- Conduct Compliance reviews;
- Maintain employees files;
- Represent the organization in local community activities;
- Weekly payroll & special assignments as needed.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Minimum three - five years Human Resources management experience: prefer Human Resources management experience in a manufacturing environment;
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices, including Federal contractor obligations;
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics;
- Knowledgeable of environmental safety and health practices;
- Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills;
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills;
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills;
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company;
- Experience as a presenter/trainer/facilitator preferred;
- Experience with major HR systems such as PeopleSoft, Kenexa BrassRing & OnBoard, and Oracle;
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including intermediate-level Excel skills.
