Ghost Robotics is the industry leader in legged robotic systems that not only help our customers solve complex operational, national security, and technical challenges to save lives, reduce harm and improve outcomes.

This position will be reporting into the Chief Development Officer and be working closely with a fast-moving team delivering next generation legged robotic solutions to our customers worldwide. We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, knowledgeable, has a solid work ethic, can learn quickly, and execute under demanding timelines.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT systems, ensuring secure and efficient operations, and providing support and training to our employees. This role is crucial in safeguarding our company's digital infrastructure and supporting our business operations both domestically and internationally.

Key Duties

  • Administer and maintain company IT systems including cloud-based storage, Microsoft, Paylocity, Odoo, 1Password, Dropbox, Monday.com, Copper, Slack, Gitlab and other productivity tools.
  • Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of all IT tools and platforms.
  • Oversee access to IT systems and data files for new hires, terminated employees, and both domestic and overseas partners.
  • Implement and manage user permissions and access rights in compliance with company policies.
  • Follow and enforce company IT and cybersecurity policies.
  • Implement necessary updates and improvements to the IT systems to comply with these policies.
  • Educate and provide training sessions and briefings on all IT-related matters for company employees.
  • Develop training materials and user guides to enhance IT literacy across the organization.
  • Continuously review and update the company's cybersecurity policy to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with the latest GRC standards.
  • Update senior leadership on IT improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency and bolstering cybersecurity protection.
  • Prepare and present reports on IT system performance, security status, and project progress.
  • Organize and manage company data to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility.
  • Implement data management best practices to support business operations and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) basic security controls.
  • Adhere to guidelines in NIST SP800-171 for protecting the confidentiality of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
  • Manage and support the US DoD Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 program.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to resolve IT-related issues and implement new solutions.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
  • Monitor and manage network performance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal connectivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements to recommend and implement new solutions that benefit the company.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Proven expertise in IT system management, computer hardware and software, cybersecurity and user support.
  • Proficiency with cloud-based storage, Gmail Suite & Vault, HRIS, ERP’s, Gitlab and other relevant IT tools.
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
  • Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical staff and customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Additional Experience Preferred

  • Experience in an engineering, robotics or tech company.
  • Experience managing the US DoD Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 program.
  • Experience with complying with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) basic security controls.
  • Familiarity with NIST SP800-171 guidelines for protecting the confidentiality of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
  • Experience working within the GRC audit framework.

Location

Philadelphia, PA (no remote candidates considered at this time).

Travel

Less than 10% travel.
