Job Description

We are assisting a fast growing software services company with their search for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. Our client is based in New York City, and this is a hybrid position. The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for the company-wide budgeting and forecasting process and monthly analysis. This includes leading long-range plans, defining key metrics, and ad hoc financial analysis.

• Compensation is $150k-$170k

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the annual budget and rolling forecasts, which include establishing budget tools, setting timelines and leading projects
• Be responsible for the monthly reporting package including financial operating statements, KPIs, operational dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, analysis of operating results against budget, prior periods and forecasts, and executive level explanations
• Analyze and present financial data and business metric insights to the executive team to influence business decisions
• Assist  revenue operations in analyzing key new business and existing customer metrics and activity

Qualifications:

• 5+ more years of combined accounting, finance, and strategic analysis experience
• Strong experience in financial analysis, budgeting and 3 statement model and scenario building
• Public Accounting, Transaction Advisory Services, Investment Banking or PE background a plus
• Experience in the SaaS industry strongly preferred
• Recognized credentials such as a CPA, CFA, CMA, ACCA or MBA
• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related field required
