Job Description

SUMMARY  

Responsible for ensuring that all Company operated car washes run at peak performance through reduced cost of chemicals and reduced downtime on equipment and increased sales.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES BY COMPETENCY

 

Customer Service Orientation  

  • To follow up on any customer service issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • To oversee car wash policies and procedures to ensure front line associates handle customer conflicts according to company guidelines.
  • To track capture rate and implement initiatives to improve.

Technical Expertise  

  • Track Ryko’s preventative maintenance checks.
  • Make minor adjustments on equipment to enhance performance.
  • Periodic checks of all overhead doors.
  • Ensure all soaps and waxes are adjusted and distributed at correct levels.
  • To obtain the most cost effective price of car wash products.

Business Results Orientation  

 

  • To track promo’s and ensure that a satisfactory level is maintained.
  • To bid out the chemical costs and car wash product costs on an annual basis to ensure competitiveness.
  • To oversee car wash signage program and ensure consistency throughout chain.
  • To develop and implement car wash initiative programs to monthly sales.
  • To provide information to assist Managers in budgeting correctly for the car wash line items.

 

Communication   

 

  • To communicate with Managers on the performance of their car wash and assist with sales initiatives.
  • To communicate to HR the monthly bonus results.
  • To communicate in monthly newsletter to all store locations on car wash performance and individual high achievers.

 

Developing Talent

 

  • To educate front line associates and managers on car wash initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
  • To continually develop one’s professional knowledge of the car wash business and the c-store industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Equivalent to high school plus additional broad specialized training equal to two years of college.

Experience: Over 3 years up to and including 5 years.

 

Other: Ability to develop and frequently use a spreadsheet. 

Ability to negotiate with vendors.

Ability to effectively communicate with Managers.
