Remote High School French Teacher
We are a dynamic international education firm dedicated to supporting students from over 30 countries as they transition to U.S. schools. We are seeking a part-time French Teacher to join our team.
We are looking for experienced educators who are passionate about teaching high school students the French language and culture, while helping them build proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Our teachers may be asked to facilitate both private and group classes.
This is a part-time, hourly, fully remote role with no travel required. Compensation is competitive and based on certifications and experience.
The High School French course offers students an immersive introduction to the French language. Students will develop their skills in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding French, while gaining an appreciation for the culture and history of French-speaking countries.
Teach French language skills at various levels (beginner to intermediate), focusing on vocabulary, grammar, and conversational practice.
Connect language learning to real-life situations, helping students use French in practical contexts.
Foster students' cultural understanding by incorporating cultural topics, traditions, and current events from French-speaking regions.
Encourage active participation in speaking and listening exercises to help students gain confidence in using French in everyday interactions.
Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
At least 3 years of teaching experience in a similar role, preferably in an international or virtual school setting.
Proficiency in French, both spoken and written, with a strong command of grammar and pronunciation.
Experience teaching language courses, preferably in a remote setting.
Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
